Nottingham Royal Concert Hall

Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham

The Royal Concert Hall is a 2,500 seated venue in the heart of Nottingham city centre that has hosted artists as varied as Norah Jones, Little Richard, Blondie and Billy Connolly. The acoustics in the hall are enhanced by the moveable acoustic canopy which is raised to cater for louder pop concerts and lowered for smaller chamber-style performances.

The hall cost around £12 million when it was built between 1980 and 1982.
