Roger Waters to Take 'The Wall' on European Tour

27th May 2010

Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame is to revive The Wall and take it on a 30-date tour of Europe next year, which will include dates in the UK & Ireland. The Wall was a concept album for Pink Floyd when it was released in 1979. The band took The Wall on tour, but due to the highly elaborate and expensive stage set that accompanied the performances, it was only performed live in a handful of locations.

Now 30 years later Roger Waters is to revive the classic album, taking a new production of The Wall on a huge World tour. The European leg of the tour will begin in Portugal next March. The tour will reach the UK in May, with three shows at the O2 in London, followed by a further two shows at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

Update 5th June 2010: Due to high demand for tickets, two extra dates have been added for the O2 Arena in London on the 14th and 15th May.

Update 14th September 2010: Due to overwhelming demand, more dates have been added to Roger Water's The Wall UK tour. An extra date has been announced at the O2 Arena in London on the 18th May, plus two extra dates at the MEN Arena in Manchester, on the 28th and 29th June.
