Noel Gallagher Announces 2012 Arena Tour Dates

On the same day that his solo incarnation - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - took the top spot in the UK album chart, Noel Gallagher has announced plans for a UK and Ireland arena tour in 2012. The former Oasis mastermind will perform seven arena dates in February and March 2012.

The arena dates will be Noel's biggest gigs since he set off on a solo career after parting company with Oasis. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will perform the following dates during the arena tour:

• Manchester MEN Arena - 13th February 2012
• Belfast Odyssey Arena - 16th February 2012
• Dublin O2 - 17th February 2012
• Newcastle Arena - 23rd February 2012
• Glasgow SECC - 24th February 2012
• London O2 Arena - 26th February 2012
• Birmingham NIA - 1st March 2012

Tickets for the Belfast and Dublin gigs will go on general sale at 9am on Thursday 27th October. Tickets for all other dates will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 28th October.
