Noah and the Whale Announce Autumn Tour

25th May 2011

Noah and the Whale have announced an extensive UK-wide tour to take place in October, in support of their latest album Last Night on Earth. The release of their third album earlier this year signalled a shift in musical direction for the Twickenham four-piece, away from their previous folksy sound and towards a more multi-layered synth-pop sound.

Following a busy summer of festival appearances, Noah and the Whale will begin their UK tour at Rock City in Nottingham on the 6th October. The band will then travel around the country stopping at: Manchester Academy (7th Oct), Newcastle Academy (11th Oct), Liverpool Academy (13th Oct), Birmingham Academy (14th Oct), Glasgow ABC (15th Oct), Leicester Academy (17th Oct), Brighton Dome (18th Oct), Norwich UEA (19th Oct), Lincoln Engine Shed (21st Oct), Leeds Academy (22nd Oct), Southampton Guildhall (23rd Oct), Cambridge Corn Exchange (25th Oct), Brixton Academy (26th Oct), Cardiff Uni (29th Oct), Truro Hall For Cornwall (30th Oct) and Bristol Colston Hall (31st Oct).

The Brixton Academy gig will be the biggest headline show that Noah and the Whale have so far performed.

Tickets to see Noah and the Whale during their autumn tour go on general sale at 9am on Friday 27th May.

Update: Noah and the Whale have extended their autumn UK tour to include a show at Mandela Hall in Belfast on Sunday 9th October.
