Liverpool Echo Arena
The Echo Arena is located on Liverpool's famous waterfront, just a stone's throw from the Albert Dock complex. The 11,000 capacity Echo Arena is connected to the BT Convention Centre and together they are known as the ACC Liverpool (Arena & Convention Centre Liverpool).
The Echo Arena is a relatively new venue, having only opened in January 2008 to launch Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture. However, it has already attracted many big name acts such as Elton John, Bob Dylan and Beyonce. The Echo Arena has also hosted high profile events such as the MTV Europe Music Awards, BBC Sports Personality of the Year and Davis Cup tennis.
