The Who Announce 50th Anniversary UK Arena Tour

The Who will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a new UK arena tour – titled 'The Who Hits 50!' – in November and December 2014. The tour is being billed as 'the beginning of the long goodbye' for the rock legends.
The Who Hits 50! will see the band take their audience on an amazing journey through their entire career. Pete Townshend describes it as 'Hits, Picks, Mixes and Misses' and said the band will play all the classic anthems as well as tackling deeper cuts from their catalogue.
The Who will perform the following dates and venues during their 50th anniversary UK tour:
- Belfast Odyssey Arena - 28th November 2014
- Glasgow SSE Hydro - 30th November 2014
- Leeds First Direct Arena - 2nd December 2014
- Nottingham Capital FM Arena - 5th December 2014
- Birmingham NIA - 7th December 2014
- Newcastle Metro Radio Arena - 9th December 2014
- Liverpool Echo Arena - 11th December 2014
- Manchester Phones 4u Arena - 13th December 2014
- Cardiff Motorpoint Arena - 15th December 2014
- London O2 Arena - 17th December 2014
- London O2 Arena - 18th December 2014 EXTRA DATE
The Who have sold more than 100 million records during their career. Their best-known albums include My Generation, Tommy and Quadrophenia.
Tickets for The Who Hits 50! UK arena tour will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 4th July.
